The machine draws copper from a maximum 1.0 mm inlet down to 0.08–0.25 mm outlet using up to 24 dies, reaching 2500 m/min line speed with an 11 KW main motor and 3.7 KW take-up motor. Tension is held by a weight balance type system, wire is wound onto D300 bobbins by a jacking screw pressing type take-up, and traversing is driven by a synchronous motor and belt for even spooling.
